2025 Global Symposium
The Belonging Forum, in partnership with the Samuel Family Foundation, hosted the Global Symposium: Bridges to Belonging in Toronto, Canada, from October 14 to 17, 2025.
Under the theme “Bridges to Belonging,” the Symposium convened a diverse group of global leaders, practitioners, researchers, and community members committed to advancing social connection and belonging across systems, communities, and generations. Participants explored how belonging can be fostered in local and global contexts, and how individuals and institutions can collaborate to overcome social isolation, inequity, and division.
By bringing together diverse perspectives and fostering dialogue across sectors, the 2025 Global Symposium offered a unique platform to advance the global conversation on belonging and inspire actionable change in communities worldwide.
